Morris County daycare teacher accused of assaulting 16-month-old girl

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Morris County daycare teacher is accused of assaulting a 16-month-old girl, according to Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll.

Christina Susco, 38, Budd Lake has been charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree aggravated assault.

It is alleged that on March 25, Susco, at the time a teacher at Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center, assaulted a 16-month-old girl, Carroll said.

The incident remains under investigation and no further information will be released at this time.  The name and identity of the victim will not be released, Carroll said.

Pursuant to the Criminal Justice Reform Act, Susco has been released from the Morris County Correctional Facility on a series of non-monetary bail conditions pending future court proceedings including restraint from Mount Olive Child Care & Learning Center, Carroll said.
